The insurance companies normally was providing only insurance which would cover money for death but later they developed to health insurance which would cover for uncertain health disorders, later they decided to cover our travel via  medical travel insurance. Which would be able to avail our worth goods when they disappear from loading and unloading in to the air craft.  Air craft companies would never take any responsibilities for such things.  They even would not cover money for life losses due to accidents, but later days they got an agreements with the insurance companies and started taking money while purchasing air ticket, from that money they would pay to the insurance companies and get the money for passengers death while travelling of accidents, both are covered.

But travel insurance is a wonderful concept which would make a professional like musicians, software engineers who carry a laptop with worth softwares about even three million dollars would be able to cover from the travel insurance they could have fear free travel by carrying worth musical instruments, many worth software compact disks etc.  But they must have such kind of premium paid to them.  In such case they would not refuse and they would grant the money immediately.
